Comedian Michael Palascak is scheduled to perform at the University of Wyoming Union Friday, March 4, at 9 p.m.
Stand-up comedian Michael Palascak is scheduled to perform Friday, March 4, at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom. Sponsored by Friday Night Fever, the event is free to UW students.
Palascak began his stand-up career on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” The comedian continued his TV performances on talk shows such as “Conan,” “The Late Late Show” and Comedy Central’s “The Half Hour.”
Palascak, based in Chicago, is a returning contestant on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.”
“Michael connects to the youthful innocence in everyone as he relates his stories onstage,” according to the comedian’s website. “From becoming an uncle to going down water slides, Michael’s stories allow everyone to laugh a lot.”
In addition to Palascak’s performance, the feature film “Creed” will be shown Friday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room.
The film follows the cult classic “Rocky” film series and stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis “Donnie” Johnson and Sylvester Stallone, reprising his Rocky Balboa role.
Johnson, who is heavyweight champion Apollo Creed’s son from an extramarital affair, strives to succeed in boxing like his father did. He seeks Balboa to coach him both in life and in the ring.
