Crook County Sheriff’s Office looking for burglary suspect

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Billy Jack Terhune. On January 8, 2016 at approximately 3:00 pm Terhune fled Crook County law enforcement on Deer Creek Road, appx. 13 miles north of Hulett, WY.

He was last seen in a UTV in the Deer Creek Road area with a female identified as Brianna Thompson, 19 years old.

According to authorities, Terhune is armed and dangerous and he has made threats that he “will not go back to jail”. Terhune is a suspect in the burglary of a shop in the area and is also wanted on other felony charges.

If subjects are seen call the Crook County Sheriff’s Office at 307-283-1225 immediately.

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office asks the public to not approach Terhune. The office also advises citizens in Hulett and in the northern area of the county should take necessary precautions.
